The National Museum of Transportation’s beginnings are the subject of a book, “Origins,” by William Matteson Schaberg. The author was interviewed for a recent article by Don Corrigan in the August 14-20, 2026 Webster-Kirkwood Times. Our Museum’s Executive Director, Terri McEachern, praises the book for documenting the vision and dedication of TNMOT’s founders.
The St. Louis Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society co-funded the publication. The “Origins” book is available for purchase at the Museum’s Boxcar Boutique through this link.
