Pumpers & Pistons Show
Saturday, May 16 | 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Big trucks. Little trucks. Fire trucks. And ice cream!
The National Museum of Transportation will host the 17th Annual Pumpers & Pistons Show, a crowd-favorite event featuring an incredible lineup of vintage and specialty vehicles that kids — and kids at heart — will love.
Guests can explore historic fire engines, antique tractors, military vehicles, and classic trucks while meeting the people who preserve these rolling pieces of history.
Participating organizations include:
- Gateway Fire Historical Society
- American Truck Historical Society
- Illinois-Missouri Tractor and Engine Club
- Military Vehicle Preservation Association – Midwest Affiliate
And there’s even more to see! Local artists will paint En Plein Air throughout the Museum grounds, turning transportation history into live works of art. Visitors can watch the talented local artists turn ARTifacts into art on canvas.
