The Dodge Challenger is the name of the three generations of automobiles produced between 1970 to 2023. This 2015 Challenger Hellcat is the third and last generation model which were produced from 2008 - 2023. This generation is a full-size muscle car built to rival the evolved fifth generation Ford Mustang and the fifth generation Chevrolet Camaro. The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat features a 6.2L Supercharged HEMI V8 engine producing 707 hp and 650 lb.-ft of torque. It achieves 0-60 MPH in 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 199 mph. The car came with two key fobs: a red key for full 707 hp, and a black key that limits the car to 500 hp.  

This 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat represents the 2010s in our '100 Years of Route 66' exhibit, and is on loan from a longtime supporter of the Museum.
