MOVING WORDS

We are hosting Super Hornet and aviation events at the The National Museum of Transportation in St. Louis, Missouri, beginning September 20, going through November 29, 2025, celebrating the first flight of the F/A-18 E1. Time flies when you’re having fun, which you are sure to do this Fall at our Museum!

This series is important to the Museum as we continue to demonstrate to the representatives at the US Naval Aviation Museum the care and promotion we are exercising in housing one of its prize artifacts, our Super Hornet. One of our goals is to obtain more aviation assets. (For detailed flyer series and information, open the first page describing 18 separate events listed here and the second page with historical tidbits and anticipated future of the Super Hornet provided here.)

Several events require advance registration and space is very limited. These events include:

Sept. 27 – Climb in the cockpit of E1 for a photo op – $30 REGISTER HERE

Oct. 9 – Speaker Series – Alan Hoffman – Up There with the Biggest – The Story of Ozark Airlines REGISTER HERE

Oct. 11 – F/A-18 Pilot Panel – 7 pm / $30 REGISTER HERE

Oct. 15 – CAPT. Kevin “Proton” McLaughlin, USN Retired, former Commander of Top Gun; Technical Advisor – Top Gun: Maverick – 7 pm / $30 REGISTER HERE

Thank you for attending our E1 events.  Your donation in support of this event assists the Museum with its future plans to acquire additional aviation assets.
