The Museum’s Library and Archives was given a tremendous collection of transportation books and ephemera from the Estate of James Corbett.  Jim Corbett loved traveling the world with his wife.  He amassed an impressive array of maps, timetables, and brochures from a number of airlines, cruise lines, and railroads.  The Museum’s Library and Archives is a great resource to research your transportation related questions!  To make an appointment to use the collections contact the Curator at (314) 821-1190.

The generosity of the public provides many of the artifacts used by the museum to create and continually enhance its many exhibits. If you would like to discuss donating an item(s) to the museum, please contact the Curator at (314) 821-1190, Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., or by email at
